It is true that ignorance is bliss and that, as we educate ourselves, we increase our sadness. Truth is often uncomfortable. When I was younger, all of my education focused on ways to earn a living. Lean a job, learn a skill or how to do a task. What happens to that valuable education when that industry goes away or you are no longer able to perform that task. Is that once valuable education now worthless?
